October in Asheville
As part of our Blue Ridge Parkway views, we stopped at Triple Falls is in the DuPont State Forest near Brevard, North Carolina. This is the greatest white noise machine in existence. Wish there was a hammock right next to it! It's 120 feet tall and has three different cascades.
There are many trails and lots of hiking options. The movie, The Hunger Games, was filmed in several different locations in this park.
From COVID-quarantine 2020 life to this Asheville waterfall hike was a heavenly change of scenery.
With any park/hiking spots, there is limited parking. The early bird gets the spots. And you do have to pay attention as the sign notes! While there were lots of marked, easy to follow trails there were also places not to go.
